Information for Current Students
The HCI Student Seminar Group is one of the most active graduate student groups on campus. Meeting weekly, students present their research, host speakers from business and industry, work on service projects, and discuss research projects and other issues important to the group.
The HCI Handbook is a must read for all HCI students. It has information about academic requirements, program milestones, campus resources, financial and administrative matters, paperwork and forms, and contact information.
The HCI Graduate Program publishes HCI News newsletter (August through May) for faculty and students with news and information about the program.
The HCI Supervisory Committee reviews all aspects of the HCI program, guiding policy development, and interpreting and implementing policies established by the HCI membership. Committee membership includes the Chair, Associate Chair, four additional HCI faculty, and the president of the HCI Student Seminar group. Faculty members serve three year terms.
The Graduate College forms needed for the program, such as the Home Department form, POS form, Committee Appointment form, Application for Graduation, and others can be found here.
