HCI Course - Assignment 2: Writing Personas

Each team will write a persona from the data sheets handed out in class. As we've learned, writing a persona is one method of getting to "know thy user." Other benefits are that design efforts can be prioritized, disagreements over design decisions can be sorted out by referring back to the personas, and designs can be evaluated against the personas thereby leading to better designs and more focused usability testing.

Deliverables

• Use the class handout as a model when developing the persona for your assigned user group
• We will begin working on writing the persona in class on Monday (6/16), please finish and upload the persona before class on Wednesday (6/18)
  • Your uploaded document should be in Word or PDF format
  • We will use the personas to continue our class web design project
