Magic Table

ARdesk.JPG

The Magic Table is a project which applies augmented reality (AR) technology to a table top environment. Using a camera and computer vision algorithms, a user can look through a virtual window and see his or her own hands displayed alongside virtual objects. Manipulating these virtual elements is done with hands-on, real world interactions, eliminating the need for input devices. This setup allows one or more users to interact intuitively in 3D. The goal of this project to construct a new desk as well as build application(s) to go with it.
