Mirror Cut
- Polygons -> Mirror Cut -> []
- Select the following: * Cut Along: YZ * Combine Meshes: Off/False
Image Planes
- From "Front", View -> Image Plane -> Import Image
- Select and open your front image.
- To remove the image plane from your "Perspective" view, from your "Front", View -> Image Plane -> Image Plane Attributes -> imagePlane1
- In Image Plane Attributes, set Display: looking through camera.
- Repeat steps, 1-4 from "Side" for side image.
Export Maya Object as .OBJ
- Window -> Setting/Preferences -> Plug-in Manager
- Select objExport.mll loaded and auto load
- File -> Export All -> []
- Select File Type as OBJexport
- Click Export All
- Select export location (such as your Desktop) and name the file
Import .OBJ in Cinema4D
- Edit -> Preferences
- Open Import/Export and Wavefront Import
- Set Scale as 100 and close dialog
- File -> Open and open your .obj
Making a QuickTime VR
- Render -> Render Settings
- Select Save.
- Select save location (such as your Desktop)
- Set Format to be QuickTime ? VR Object
- Select QuickTime ? VR
- Set the following for Horizontal Settings: * Steps 36 * Start Angle 0 * End Angle 360
- Set the following for Vertical Settings: * Steps 6 * Start Angle 15 * End Angle -45
- Render -> Render to Picture Viewer
