So, once again today, there has not been a lot of exciting stuff happening. Since yesterday we...haven't been able to do a whole lot. We've got some specifics of our project figured out but we can't do anything else until we meet with our advisor, which he and most of the lab are out at John Deere doing a presentation all day, so we have to wait until tomorrow. This morning Ugonna and I picked out what objects we want to use; we decided to go with 36 just because that seemed about right. Hopefully we can justify that number later so we don't get grilled for picking an arbitrary number. We also took pictures of all the objects. If you'd like to see them, go over to the developmental robotics page and download the zip file at the bottom called 'Objects.zip'. For the rest of the day we have to take the objects and write out how they pair up and possibly program some of the actions the robot is to perform. I also have to drink a bottle of Mountain Dew so we have an empty bottle to use. The things I do for science (lol).
