PWSE Meeting. Went well. Our mentor, Jim Oliver couldn't make it so we didn't meet up with him. (Just a reminder, it's Allison, Jasmine, Jenna and me who are in the PWSE)
Eric's Programming Class: Had something like a review of the really, really basic stuff of C++, but it's still good to have, since I hadn't touched C++ in over a year. Keep confusing it with Python, since it's like a simple version of C++. The tutorial of Visual Studio wasn't that bad. It's different than DevBloodshed -C++ which I'm used to. (Bloodshed is a free interface for C++, or more like the free version is like a demo that you can use, but it's really simple and it's good to use for simple programs and projects, though I'll have to get back on the differences between Bloodshed and Visual Studio)
The project assigned by Eric is due (I think) next Friday.
We need to hand in a proposal by this Friday including:
What the project will be about
Pseudo code (If I'm not mistaken)
Time frame of day-to-day things each individual will do
And a single slide presentation of what the project will be about for Wednesday
Afternoon:
Not yet there
Ideas for Programming Project:
Already decided on something like a text-based game
Idea is that the user goes to shop and random things will happen to him
